The Position

As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the business plan for your geographical area to ensure company objectives are achieved. You will measure, track, analyse and present key metrics: prescription depth and breadth planning, reporting and effort analysis. 

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the national business plan by achieving targets through implementation of marketing and promotion strategies aimed at effectively presenting and promoting Novo Nordisk products to health care practitioners.
  • Taking an entrepreneurial approach and operating with a high level of autonomy. Work proportion is allocated to field work 100%.
  • Showing a high level of understanding of customer needs; anticipating and adapting action plans to maximize opportunities and address challenges, excelling in making things happen through diligent and timely follow-up.
  • Working across different external stakeholders, including but not limited to KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, and hospital management.
  • Showing cross-functional team working across Obesity Business Unit and beyond to maximize the promotion and presence of Novo Nordisk products.

 

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales in pharma/health care industry.
  • Experience with General Practitioners or Gynaecologists desired.
  • Experience in therapeutical areas of Metabolic/Cardiology is advantage.
  • University degree.
  • Experience in building relationships with HCPs and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • An aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information, as well as value proposition for the product(s) under responsibility.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
  • Fluency in Czech language, and at least basic English language.

About the Department 

You will be working closely with a sales team that will help you in executing the strategy in our Sales and Commercial unit. It is a fast paced, exciting, and sometimes challenging environment. However, this is a very collaborative and solution focused team who all work together to ensure a successful outcome on all projects. We have a great sense of team spirit, and whilst we work hard, we like to have fun too! You will report to Field Sales Manager.
