Your new role

As an HR Business Partner/ HR Generalist at Novo Nordisk Czech Republic, you'll play a support role in driving organizational success and employee engagement in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. Working closely with the P&O Director and key stakeholders, you'll contribute to shape HR strategies that enable our affiliate of 120+ employees to thrive and deliver on our mission.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with management to implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational performance
  • Driving employee engagement and well-being programs across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with all stakeholders to maximize organizational potential including onboarding, development, performance management support
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, providing coaching, facilitation, and guidance on complex HR matters
  • Innovating HR processes and approaches to increase efficiency, simplify operations, and enhance employee experience
  • Overseeing local HR administration and payroll processes, ensuring full compliance with Czech labor law and implementing legislative changes (house in order)
  • Leading organizational health and safety activities and compliance
  • Cooperation with external vendors providing HR services

 

Your new department

Within our Czech Republic affiliate, the People & Organisation team plays a pivotal role in supporting unprecedented business growth. You'll work in a team of two HRBPs, each assigned to specific departments to provide tailored, customer-focused HR support. P&O is instrumental in ensuring we have the right people, capabilities, and culture to sustain our success while preserving what makes Novo Nordisk special.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence. You'll bring with you:

  • University degree in Management, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in human resources with broad knowledge across all HR disciplines
  • Proven ability to translate business challenges into effective HR initiatives and deliver measurable improvements in staffing, talent management, and employee engagement
  • Change management experience with demonstrated ability to navigate leaders and employees through complex situations; personal resilience and business acumen needed
  • Strategic and analytical mindset combined with a "can-do" attitude that balances people and business objectives; radical responsibility
  • Deep knowledge of Czech labor law and proven ability to implement legal requirements into practical internal procedures
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
  • Fluency in both Czech and English

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 1,042,030.00 to 1,771,460.00 CZK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
