The Position

As a Clinical Research Associate, you will join the team that performs clinical trial activities for clinical trials and non-interventional studies. Your main duties will be to implement clinical trial protocols following Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH Guidelines, federal regulations, and SOPs. You will handle the activities from the time you receive the CTA package until the CTR submission in accordance with local and international regulations.

 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • site selection
  • site initiation
  • monitoring activities on sites participating in Phase I-IV clinical protocols
  • site closure
  • managing assigned sites and processing payments

 

Qualifications

You should have an educational background preferably within the Health Sciences (biology, pharmacy etc). Additional post graduate training and degrees will be considered as an asset.

 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • solid work experience of two years in the same or similar positions in the pharmaceutical industry, including CROs
  • proactive and team player mindset
  • analytical mindset with a structured approach to solving tasks
  • proficiency in Czech and English.

 

Ideally, you can work on your own and have a solid knowledge of project management, as well as the skill and readiness to adapt to new scenarios in a constantly evolving environment with a customer-oriented approach. You should be skilled at using Microsoft Office Package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The job also demands fluency in Czech and English, effective communication skills, and cross-cultural awareness.

 

About the Department

CDC (Clinical Development Center) Czech Republic belongs to Region South-East Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEEMEA) and is a new structure of clinical organization in Novo Nordisk. In CDC, you will become part of our expanding Clinical team that consists of over 25 people, and you will have an opportunity to work on trials in these Therapy Areas: Diabetes, Obesity, CVD (Cardiovascular disease), OSCD (Other serious chronic diseases) & Rare Diseases.
