The position

As an Associate Director of Finance & Operations (F&O), you will act as the strategic finance partner to the Czech leadership team where you will drive and implement the strategic direction for Novo Nordisk Czechia. Together with your team, you will drive key change projects for the organization and as a business partner lead Business Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Insights and Business Operations.

 

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Being a trusted business partner and sparring partner to the GM and Czechia Leadership Team, ensuring proactive follow-up on performance based on solid analysis and insights.
  • Translating strategy into clear goals while fostering sustainable growth, strong capabilities and high-performing teams that drive positive financial, environmental and social impact.
  • Overseeing financial and tax targets, optimizing internal financial processes through shared services and outsourcing, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Leading Supply Chain Management, Order Processing and Warehousing ensure delivering of the right products to the right customer at the right time to ensure continuous patient supply.
  • Being responsible for the facility, fleet & work safety and ensuring compliance with local and Group Occupational Health and Safety rules.

 

Qualifications

  • You hold a master’s degree or equivalent in business or finance with excellent financial background
  • You have several years' work experience as a leader in finance and a proven finance partnering mindset.
  • Strong understanding of the Czech market and local policies and regulations (experience from pharmaceutical industry can be an advantage).
  • You have proven successes in leading and inspiring people, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • We expect our candidates to be able to communicate effectively in Czech and English, discuss strategies in a way that impacts key stakeholders at executive level, building trusted relationships and driving change.

 

As a person, you are an effective leader able to navigate in complex, matrix environments; you excel at leading cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes. You have a strong enterprise business mindset with a can-do attitude and can translate strategy into actions with positive results. You have a proven leadership record in a complex business environment. You are a team player, embrace collaboration, and contribute to the positive attitude of your team.

 

About the department

You will be a member of Novo Nordisk Czechia Leadership Team and report directly to the General Manager
