Your new role
As an RMA, you will provide high-quality scientific support, education, and stakeholder engagement that strengthens awareness, understanding and appropriate use of Novo Nordisk cardiometabolic therapies across the following cities in Bulgaria: Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Stara Zagora, Sliven, Yambol, Smolyan, and part of Sofia.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide field-based scientific support for marketed products, development projects and unsolicited medical requests.
- Prepare, coordinate and deliver scientific and medical education for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and institutions.
- Identify and collaborate with academic centers and investigators to support clinical trials and future research.
- Support local clinical trial execution and maintain relationships with current and future study site staff.
- Offer medico-marketing support for product campaigns and cross-functional initiatives.
- Drive innovation by proposing medical projects, process improvements and contributing to business-case development.
The role is approximately 60% field-based and 40% office-based, requiring regular travel within your designated region.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a Medical Doctor, Pharmacist with fluency in English and Bulgarian, bringing a strong scientific foundation and the ability to communicate complex information with clarity and professionalism. Please note that this position is offered as a 1-year Fixed-Term Contract (FTC).
You will bring:
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a field MSL/Medical Advisor (preferably min. 2 years in the role), in a health-related system, or clinical practice.
- Background or exposure in cardiometabolic medicine (diabetes, obesity, CVD, dyslipidaemia).
- Understanding of the local pharmaceutical market and existing relationships with key customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in Bulgarian and English.
- Availability to travel in the designated territory, preferably you are already based in Plovdiv.
