The Position
Driven by a customer-centric mindset, the Sr. IT Product Manager bridges business goals and technology by leading the development of innovative IT solutions in the consumer and patient engagement space. This role is pivotal in enabling digital solutions that create meaningful value for our customers and patients.
Relationships
Reports to a manager in the USO DD& IT Organization. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and technology partners to enable seamless product delivery. Proactively engages stakeholders to align priorities, manage expectations, and drive shared outcomes.
Essential Functions
- Define, prepare, and drive a compelling product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Translate customer needs and business goals into actionable product strategies
- Build, prioritize, and maintain a well-structured Program Backlog
- Track leading indicators for features and account for business cases
- Monitor and track progress to guarantee quality and timely delivery
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure product viability and value delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand key drivers for deliveries to enable ongoing prioritization and content elaboration
- Clarify and coordinate dependencies with other Product Managers, external stakeholders and Agile teams, and collaborate with these to visualize and prioritise features accordingly
- Handle/mitigate risks and dependencies on an ongoing basis
- Ensure Business Owners collaboration and reporting
- Ensure feature delivery according to agreements (Definition of Done)
- Accept features throughout the PI in accordance with the Definition of Done
- Help ensure quality in all deliveries and through definition of acceptance criteria and test
- Coordinate releases and ensure organisational readiness and implementation
- Understand “technical enabler work”
- Work with the ART and other stakeholders to understand “technical enabler work” to be able to prioritize and clarify when needed
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
- Education Level: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in business, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred
- Experience Level: 8+ years experience within IT or innovation function.
- Must have experiencing leading large initiatives across multiple business functions
- 1+ year experience in Agile methodologies is preferred
- Strong business insight and knowledge is required in relation to products, roadmaps etc.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce or similar technologies preferred

The base compensation range for this position is $120,300 to $222,600. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance. Novo Nordisk offers long-term incentive compensation and or company vehicles depending on the position's level or other company factors.
