The Position

This key role contributes to the execution of enterprise distribution operations with trade partners by informing design of distribution agreements, ensuring ongoing compliance, and monitoring performance of the downstream supply chain.

 

Relationships

Reports to the Director, Wholesaler Strategy & Channel Operations and is in direct contact with trade partners. This role partners closely with Finance, Market Access, and Supply Chain.

 

Essential Functions

  • Manage relationships with trade partners while serving as an escalation point both internally and externally
  • Lead programs to enable timely product launches and discontinuations, including but not limited to collecting, and assembling product data, activating / deactivating associated data & reporting
  • Own fiscal activity related to wholesale partners including forecasting anticipated spend, then lead assessments and validation of wholesaler fees earned
  • Ensure optimal supply of product to the market, timely communication of any developments to trade partners, and lead resolution of product availability issues
  • Deliver analyses and insights to inform supply chain operations, including alternate models, collaborate with a cross-functional team to bring strategy to life by operationalizing agreements
  • Manage projects and tasks related to alternative model execution
  • Coordinates with supply chain specialists, leaders and alternative model execution team to ensure timely solution design updates while maintaining steady operations
  • Building and maintaining good relations with alternative distribution model partners and service providers

 

Physical Requirements

0-10% overnight travel required.

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience.  Advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years' experience
  • Experience within the healthcare  industry and/or channel operations preferred
  • Proven track record of collaboration across multiple disciplines within organization to deliver results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Proven experience of extensive contact with internal and external customers for Business Partnering is required
  • MS Office skills required with an advanced understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data analytics tools preferred

 

The base compensation range for this position is $120,300 to $222,600. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
