Senior Systems Analyst - SAP and Serialization

The Position

This role analyzes users requirements and designs new IT application solutions and/or enhancements to existing application solutions in meeting new business needs and in solving business problems. This role possesses and applies a broad range of expertise of principles, methods, practices, standards, procedures and compliance requirements of a particular business function in designing and developing complex IT solutions. In the support role of existing systems, this role provides knowledge and training on the system use and interfaces with business users in understanding and providing resolutions to the system related issues and discrepancies. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organizations architectural and operating standards and requirements.

Relationships

This position reports to a manager in Business Applications. This position interacts with all levels of Project Managers, Business Analysts, other Systems Analysts, Application Developers, Architects and System Engineers as needed. Interacts with other lines of business as needed.

Essential Functions

• Monitor the serialization EPCIS transactions and assist in resolving issues in production, perform initial analysis and triage issues, collaborate with vendor teams on resolution of issues, escalate issues to the next level support, collaborate with business teams on testing of issues, etc. Manage incidents, changes and problems in ServiceNow or external ticketing system.
• Support Serialization and other operations in compliance with DSCSA 2023 requirements.
• Provide support to IT processes around DSCSA serialization solution,  propose strategic solutions to technical problem and compliance issues,  and implement IT process improvement to streamline operations.
• Coordinate the EPCIS onboarding activities with trading partners.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain team to enable new Partner and new product setup in serialization systems.
• Liaison with business partners to understand requirements around DSCSA compliance and provide system support.
• Coordinate with Internal and external partners on technical readiness to meet DSCSA requirements and provide technical support for ongoing compliance activities
• Monitor and provide technical support for TraceLink system, manage the TraceLink releases and maintain the system documentation
• Support the VRS solution and manage technical configuration and production issues.
• Support DSCSA related projects and testing activities.
• Manage Validation activities needed for GxP project

Physical Requirements

0-10% overnight travel required.

Qualifications

• A BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field required.  Relevant experience may be substituted when appropriate.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, IT, programming/systems analysis or other related experience required. Project management or cross functional team lead experience preferred
• Tracelink, SAP: ECC, ATTP, ICH (including VRS)
• Overall Manufacturing and Supply Chain knowledge and experience in SAP Order to Cash end to end processes.
• Working knowledge and experience with US DSCSA serialization requirements, Lot level traceability (T3), GS1 standards, EPCIS format, ASN, VRS, Tracing and credentialing etc.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Serialization Platform – TraceLink, SAP ATTP and SAP ICH
• SAP ERP (ECC) experience in Sales and Distribution
• Familiarity with SAP Master Data and data models (ECC, S4).
• Validation experience in GxP environment
