The Position
Manage full lifecycle recruitment for professional to senior level positions. Act as a strategic and tactical talent acquisition partner to assigned business unit(s) to facilitate the achievement of the business goals as it relates to attracting and acquiring top talent. Identify and recruit highly qualified candidates in the least amount of time from a variety of sources. Assist with the on-going implementation of an overall talent acquisition strategy focused on attracting talent specifically tailored to key client groups.
Relationships
Reports to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition Delivery. Partner and collaborate with HR Directors/Business Partners, hiring managers (including senior leaders and Vice Presidents), external outsourcing partners and agencies, driving relationships resulting in the achievement of business objectives.
Essential Functions
- Work independently as a TA Subject Matter Expert and advisor to source, identify, qualify, and deliver candidates for assigned client group, including senior-level positions, using a variety of creative recruiting methods
- Partner with hiring managers and HR within a highly matrixed environment to identify top quality candidates
- Think critically when complex challenges arise and find solutions
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand the needs of the business and help develop a recruitment strategy to support current hiring needs and future growth
- Establish and/or maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, HR business partners, candidates, and Talent Acquisition team members
- Establish and execute full-cycle sourcing strategies utilizing knowledge and technical expertise of recruitment principles and best practices to obtain results
- Use traditional and nontraditional resources, including new concepts, techniques and standards (career fairs, online job board, community networking events, social media, etc.), to identify and attract quality candidates
- Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS); suggests alternate recruiting methods as appropriate
- Provide feedback to internal and external candidates in a timely fashion and in accordance with Talent Acquisition procedures
- Develop new hire offers and gain appropriate levels of approval. Provide counsel and direction relative to market-based new hire offers
- Work with client areas and closely with COE (Mobility, Compensation,) regarding resolution and clarification of expatriate and relocation issues, understanding guidelines, etc.
- Participate in Talent Acquisition related projects in either a team member capacity as the subject matter expert, or as a lead on projects with a medium to large scope/budget
- Ensure Applicant Flow, Job Folders, and sourcing/reporting are in compliance with OFCCP/EEO guidelines and internal SOPs
- Ensure that job status and associated status reports are up to date weekly
- Ensure the applicant tracking system is updated regularly and all required forms are uploaded, in accordance with internal compliance requirements
- Partner with Talent Attraction/Sourcing team to develop sourcing strategies (leveraging internet tools, social networking, online ads, agencies, outplacement, etc.) and maintain positive working relationships with these sources to ensure an adequate supply of talent when needed
- Interview and assess candidates (phone screens and in-person) using behavioral, competency-based interviewing techniques
- Utilize assessment tools to provide overview and recommendations to hiring managers, when applicable
- Manage relationships and partner with recruiting agencies (contingent and retained), holding them accountable for contract milestones
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required. Hybrid role based in Plainsboro, NJ. In office presence required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience and/or certification in specialized HR function may be substituted for degree, when appropriate
- A minimum of 6 years in working in Human resources or relevant experience collaborating with line of business (including VP+ level) and/or centers of excellence (COEs) can be substituted where needed, Talent Acquisition experience preferred
- Experience using an applicant tracking system preferred
- In depth experience using behavioral interviewing techniques and assessment tools strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge manager assumptions or directly confront issues
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and re-manage high requisition flow, line of business (LoB) relationships, and compliance with on a daily basis
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and analyze data to drive key decisions and influence Hiring Managers
- Ability to leverage job boards and social media to effectively source, network, and gather labor market analytics
- Good working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and federal/state legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
