The Position

This position will support company compliance to the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). This includes Line of Business systems and SOPs related to compliance activities. Manages and coordinates serialization and exception handling processes for DSCSA. Assists with projects and IT coordination in support of Supply Chain Operations.

 

The position is responsible for: Supply Chain Serialization and Exception Handling processes. Supply Chain Integrated System Solution Advisor.

 

Relationships

Reports to Director, NNI Logistics and Compliance.

 

Position regularly interacts with Supply Chain, Quality, Information Technology, additional Lines of Business, and Implementation Partners.

 

Collaborates with HQ Global Serialization Organization, Industry Groups and multiple DSCSA System Solution Vendors.

 

Essential Functions

  • Supply Chain Serialization and Exception Handling Processes:
    • Responsible for supporting activities relating to Serialization DSCSA Compliance
    • Work as the expert with Novo Nordisk DSCSA solutions
    • Ensure timely monitoring and exception handling of DSCSA serialization data exchange with downstream trading partners
    • Participate in initiatives to enhance DSCSA processes and solutions
    • Support DSCSA Verifications, Tracing, and Investigations
    • Coordinate with Supply Chain Team and other departments to support processes
  • Supply Chain Integrated System Solution Advisor:
    • Support key Supply Chain initiatives and ensure IT solutions are leveraged to meet business requirements
    • Document, maintain and develop overall knowledge of current solutions
    • Advise on new requirements and projects specific to DSCSA
    • Aid Supply Chain in more complex business processes and system issues beyond daily support
    • Partner with both Global and local IT in coordination of system changes and updates
    • Stay current on industry direction including new SAP functionality and offerings

0-10% overnight travel required. Plainsboro, New Jersey Home Office based.

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor 's degree is required, with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • SAP ATTP, SAP ECC, and DSCSA knowledge
  • Microsoft skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive inter and intra-departmental contact required
  • Individual must know how to prioritize requests
