The Position
Supports supply chain production planning. Serves as SAP area super user and order management of non-critical and critical materials (GMP raw materials), as well as sourcing of non-critical materials. Support the site to source indirect materials and service and ensure that internal customers have the materials they need when required, while continuously improving quality, delivery cost and sustainability for non-critical materials.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for executing and aligning short- and mid-term production plans with supply plans, customer needs, and production line capacities, ensuring plans are realistic and executable
- Own and maintain the operational production schedule and site capacity overview, including coordination of shutdowns and maintenance activities
- Support translation of supply plans into detailed and actionable production schedules, ensuring readiness for execution
- Ensure material availability for production by proactively identifying gaps and coordinating with Supply Planning, Procurement, and Warehouse
- Act as main point of contact for coordination across Supply Planning, QA, QC, Warehouse, Production, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure production readiness
- Communicate material availability, constraints, and risks, and drive resolution of issues impacting production (e.g. delays, missing materials, quality holds)
- Execute and support the daily operational planning process in SAP, ensuring smooth planning and execution flow
- Own and maintain planning data and master data in SAP to ensure high data quality and system reliability
- Act as site Master Data (MD) Steward, ensuring accuracy of BOMs, recipes, production versions, and planning parameters
- Act as SAP area super user, supporting users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring correct system usage across the site
- Identify and resolve SAP-related issues impacting production planning and execution (e.g. incorrect master data, planning errors, system inconsistencies)
- Collaborate closely with Supply planning to ensure effective handover from planning to execution and provide feedback on plan feasibility
- Monitor production execution against plan and proactively adjust to ensure continuity and minimize disruptions
- Support availability of site consumables, and operational materials required for production
- Support follow-up on procurement and supplier-related issues impacting production readiness
- Create and analyze planning data, forecasts, and capacity utilization reports in SAP to support decision-making
- Support continuous improvement of planning processes, SAP data quality, and operational efficiency
- Ensure proper documentation of processes and support training of users in SAP and planning processes
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related field of study from an accredited university required and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement and/or Sourcing required
- In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of experience, may consider an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related field of study and seven (7) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement and/or Sourcing required
- In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of experience, may consider a High School Diploma or equivalent and nine (9) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement and/or Sourcing required
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills required
- Excellent working knowledge of GMP required
- Excellent computer skills including Excel & material management systems required
- Demonstrated understanding & capability in scheduling of multiple lines/multiple planning areas, required
- Able to develop, manage, and achieve action plans, required
- Good negotiation, communication and collaboration skills required
- Preferred skills and experience:
- Experience planning in SAP or OMP in a cGMP environment
- Experience implementing SAP
- Good presentation skills
- Proven process improvement & problem-solving skills
- Experience in LEAN Manufacturing environment including implementation of lean practices
