Your new role

As a Supply Chain Manager within Supply Chain Operations based in Panama City, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our products reach patients when and where they're needed. You'll navigate complex multi-country stakeholder landscapes, make critical decisions with agility, and lead initiatives that directly impact our ability to supply life-saving medicines globally.

 

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Oversee the entire supply chain for CAC (Central America & Caribbean) and SAM (South America) Clusters, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and develop the Operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance, and accountability.
  • Act as the owner of the Clusters Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes, leading the development and implementation of a data-driven process for optimal decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various functions to drive and successfully execute strategic Supply Chain projects within the clusters, ensuring effective implementation and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead supply chain optimization and transformation projects, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage the Panama Regional Distribution Center (RDC), ensuring that operational pro-cesses meet regional requirements and drive efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder management by building and sustaining collaboration with cross-functional teams, including those in the Clusters, Business Area BASAC, Region REM (Emerging Markets) , International Operations Supply Chain.

Within Global Manufacturing & Supply, the Supply Chain Operations team orchestrates the complex movement of products across borders and regions. We work collaboratively across time zones and cultures to ensure that our supply chain remains resilient, efficient, and always focused on patient needs. In this fast-paced environment, your ability to navigate complexity and drive alignment will be essential to our success.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a Supply Chain Manager who thrives in complex, global environments and can lead with both strategic vision and operational excellence. You'll bring with you:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations
  • Advanced proficiency in English and fluent Spanish
  • Strong Excel skills to analyse data, identify trends, and drive evidence-based decision-making
  • Experience as a people manager is highly desirable
  • SAP knowledge is desirable
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence and align partners across multiple countries and organizational levels
  • Demonstrated agility in decision-making, with the ability to balance speed and thoroughness while aligning internal stakeholders
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills to navigate complex situations and build consensus with global teams and stakeholders
