The position

As a Finance Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Serve as an autonomous, dedicated Business Partner to commercial teams, focusing on strategic investment distribution.
  • Manage and report on P&L, Sales Analytics, and resource allocation across the multi-country BASAC cluster.
  • Challenge sales forecasts and commercial investment proposals based on rigorous financial analysis and data.
  • Lead and drive critical financial processes across the region, including price increase execution and control.
  • Communicate complex financial results effectively to senior management, “telling the story behind the numbers.”
  • Identify and proactively evaluate value creation opportunities and financial risks within the cluster.
  • Ensure effective and optimised distribution of investment resources to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

Critical or must have skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Business Analysis at a multinational.
  • Strong expertise in P&L management, Sales Analytics, and multi-country resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to operate with high autonomy as a strategic Business Partner to commercial teams.
  • Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience utilizing an ERP system (SAP preferred).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, such as Power BI, for executive reporting.

Nice to have skills

  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Consumer Goods industry, combined with prior experience managing conflict and driving consensus across diverse cluster teams.

 

About the department

You will be part of our Finance & Operations team, based in either Peru or Panama. This department is dedicated to conducting the financial and accounting operations of Novo Nordisk, including preparing budgets, forecasts, and statutory returns, managing cost accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The team operates in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working collaboratively to drive value creation and optimise resources across the BASAC cluster.
