Are you ready to reshape how a fast-growing organisation understands its consumers and patients? This is your chance to build and lead a Business Insights & Consumer Intelligence capability– transforming how strategic decisions are made across one of the most dynamic regions in global healthcare.
Your new role
In this pivotal leadership role, you will build and lead BASAC's Business Insights & Consumer Intelligence capability, driving a fundamental shift from traditional pharmaceutical reporting to a consumer-led, insight-driven organisation. You will ensure that strategic decisions across the region are grounded in a deep understanding of patient and consumer needs, behaviours, motivations and growth opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Translating complex data and consumer insights into compelling strategic narratives that influence senior leadership and shape business decisions
- Serve as BASAC’s primary strategic advisor on market performance, business opportunities and growth drivers.
- Defining the vision, operating model and roadmap for the Business Insights & Consumer Intelligence function across BASAC
- Leading consumer intelligence work including segmentation, journey mapping, Jobs-to-be-Done and conversion/barrier analysis to uncover growth opportunities
- Partnering with commercial, medical and cross-functional teams to embed consumer-centric thinking into strategic planning
- Building and developing a high-performing insights team, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigour and consumer obsession
- Consolidate and interpret competitive, market, consumer and environmental signals.
Your new department
Within this area, the BASAC Business Insights team plays a critical role in ensuring the region's growth agenda is informed by world-class consumer and market intelligence. You will be joining at a transformative moment – one where the ambition is to fundamentally redefine how the organisation listens to, understands and responds to the people it serves. Your leadership will be instrumental in making consumer insight the foundation of strategic decision-making across the region.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced insights leader who combines analytical depth with strategic vision. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- 8–10+ years in Business Intelligence, Consumer Insights, Strategy, Commercial Analytics, Consulting or related fields, with proven experience building or transforming insights functions
- Deep expertise in consumer behaviour, segmentation, journey mapping, Jobs-to-be-Done and conversion/barrier analysis, with experience applying insights to business strategy and growth decisions
- Background from FMCG, Consumer Health, Retail, Consumer Tech or consumer-centric healthcare organisations, ideally in regional or multinational settings
- Strong ability to influence senior executives and navigate complex cross-functional environments without direct authority, paired with executive storytelling skills and high ownership
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
