Your new role

As our new Director for Commercial Strategy & Marketing, you will be responsible for translating affiliate and brand ambitions into clear commercial strategies, customer and channel priorities, integrated marketing plans, and omnichannel engagement models that drive growth, strengthen competitiveness, and improve customer impact. Reporting to the General Manager and through leadership of Consumer Activation, HCP Marketing, and Customer Excellence units, the role ensures that marketing strategies and campaigns are insight-driven, measurable, compliant, and fully aligned with business priorities.

In more details, your key accountabilities will be:

 

  • Based on a thorough understanding of the market drive local portfolio strategy, launch readiness, and lifecycle brand planning to ensure aligned,   market-relevant execution across functions.
  • Define and drive the affiliate’s consumer  activation approach across channels, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Own the HCP marketing strategy, delivering segmented, insight‑driven, integrated campaigns in close alignment with Medical, Market Access, and Commercial Execution.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end digital and omnichannel strategy to deliver seamless, high‑quality customer experiences, supported by strong governance, execution discipline, and performance measurement.
  • versee the creation and execution of compliant, high‑impact campaigns, continuously optimizing channel mix, customer targeting and segmentation, and investment decisions.
  • Own the strategic use of insights, analytics, and performance measurement to continuously shape strategy, optimise return of investments, and inform forecasting.
  • As the leader of leaders, build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams, fostering accountability, capability growth, and a strong performance‑driven culture.

 

 

 

The department

You will join a highly engaged and purpose‑driven organisation, united by a shared ambition to make a meaningful difference for patients. Our Norwegian affiliate consists of approximately 85 employees across sales, marketing, clinical, medical, and other functions. In the newly established position as Strategy and Marketing Director, you will head up a department of approximately 20 high performing employees, divided in three sub departments. You will be a member of the local Leadership Team, and you will promote an enterprise mindset and strong performance culture to ensure focused execution, rapid response to market developments, and continuous improvement across the commercial organization. You will have P&L responsibility.

 

 

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded leader who can shape direction, and deliver results. To succeed in the role you should bring a:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Significant leadership experience in developing commercial strategies, marketing plans, and integrated campaigns in a regulated environment.
  • Experience in pharma, healthcare, medtech, or another highly regulated industry strongly preferred. Additional experience in consumer, digital engagement, or adjacent consumer-facing marketing models is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, omnichannel strategy, customer activation, and performance measurement together with experience in insights generation, analytics, and ROI-based investment decisions.
  • Experience leading and developing teams as people manager is required
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in a Nordic language is an advantage
