We are looking for a field based Diabetes District Manager based in the Oslo metropolitan area, to mainly cover Østlandet in various defined geographical districts. 

 

As Diabetes District Manager you will report directly to our Sales Director and be part of our competent and dedicated Diabetes team. The team is responsible for developing the diabetes market in Norway and driving the diabetes portfolio strategy together with the broader cross-functional team, including medical affairs, market access and public affairs.

 

The Job

As the leader of your territory you will play a key role in representing Novo Nordisk and being the preferred partner within diabetes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a business plan for your geographical area and achieve targets through implementation of marketing strategies aimed at effectively promoting Novo Nordisk services and products to health care practitioners (HCPs).

 

The role will require you to take an entrepreneurial approach and you will be expected to operate with a high level of autonomy. You must demonstrate a high level of understanding of customer needs, anticipate and adapt action plans to maximise opportunities and address challenges, excelling in making things happen through diligent and timely follow-up. You will work across different external stakeholders including, but not limited to key opinion leaders, GPs, nurses and hospital management. The position is field based and requires extensive business traveling.

 

About you

Qualifications:

  • You hold as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in science (e.g. nursing), and/or have broad experience from the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record on exceptional commercial acumen and selling skills
  • You have good digital skills in digital solutions, CMR systems and MS Office programmes
  • You have excellent Norwegian and English language skills in both written and spoken
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel

  • You are a quick learner and can communicate scientific information effectively
