We are looking for a Senior IT/OT Operation & Infrastructure Professional to take ownership of critical systems, and ensure high availability and performance at Site TI.
Your new role
As a Senior IT/OT Operation & Infrastructure Professional, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and continuously improving IT/OT infrastructure in a regulated and business‑critical environment. The position is currently anchored in a project setup and is expected to transition into an operational role within a few years.
- Operate and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance and availability across the organisation
- Provide global backup and monitoring services, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues
- Automate routine operational tasks using scripting to improve efficiency and reliability
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot IT/OT systems, including servers, networks, firewalls and related hardware and software
- Follow up on SLA agreements and act as a subject matter expert, supporting stakeholders and mentoring colleagues

You will be joining the organization Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEX). The area is anchored in Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS), which globally employ approximately 38.000 of Novo Nordisk’s total 65,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is responsible for designing, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across GMS to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. Novo Nordisk is expanding our global manufacturing footprint in Tietgenbyen in Odense, Denmark, to meet the increasing demand for current and future treatments in serious chronic diseases. This presents an exciting challenge and an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions - Site Tietgenbyen (TI). Fill & Finish Expansions has the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across GMS to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now.
Once the facility in Odense is in operation and final approvals have been obtained, it will become part of Novo Nordisk’s global network of manufacturing facilities of finished products delivering medicine to millions of patients worldwide.
You will join GMS IT – DPME – TI - FFEx, part of the Digital & IT organisation. The department is responsible for ensuring a strong and reliable IT/OT foundation supporting Site TI operations. You will collaborate closely with the local IT/OT team, global GITO functions, engineering, operations, external support teams and vendors, contributing to stable operations and continuous improvements. Within the next few years, the role will transition from project-based work to operations.

Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you combine strong technical expertise with a structured and collaborative mindset.
- Master of Science or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience within IT/OT operations, infrastructure management or similar roles
- Proven expertise in server infrastructure, backup and monitoring solutions, and automation using scripting
- Experience and knowledge of server, firewall, IT security and network management in regulated environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in cross‑functional teams
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Danish

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000 to 956,900 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
