Sr Demand and Supply Analyst

Category:  Supply Chain
Location:

North Sydney, New South Wales, AU

Senior Supply & Demand Analyst

Turn data into impact. In this role, you'll be the link between commercial ambition and operational delivery – ensuring that life-saving medicines reach the patients who need them across the Oceania region. This isn't just about managing numbers; it's about balancing competing priorities, building strong partnerships across the business, and being the supply chain expert who keeps everything moving smoothly.

Your new role

As Senior Supply & Demand Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our supply chain operations for the Oceania region. In this North Sydney office based role, you'll own the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for selected portfolios, ensuring we have the right inventory in the right place at the right time to meet patient needs. This role requires someone who can think strategically while executing operationally – someone who thrives on solving complex puzzles and building relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Owning and leading the S&OP process for allocated portfolios, ensuring all meetings, measures and minutes are completed on time and in full

- Managing demand and supply planning activities to maintain sufficient inventory that supports strategic business objectives and patient requirements

- Building and maintaining relationships with commercial business leaders, marketing teams, and external customers including hospitals to ensure seamless supply

- Developing analytical tools to interrogate data, identify trends and implement process improvements that enhance supply chain performance

- Managing inventory across multiple channels, including consignment inventory at designated hospitals, taking into account lead-times, customer demands and shelf life

- Ensuring all compliance activities and customer reporting are completed accurately and on time, in line with regulatory requirements

- Acting as the supply chain subject matter expert for your allocated portfolios, partnering with stakeholders across the business

Your new department

In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

Within the Oceania Supply Chain team, you'll be part of a dynamic operations group that serves patients across Australia and the wider region. We're a collaborative team that values analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and strong stakeholder partnerships. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver on our promise to patients – making sure that when someone needs our medicines, they're available.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced supply chain professional who combines analytical capability with strong relationship-building skills. You'll bring:

- 5+ years' experience in supply chain, with demonstrated expertise in demand and supply planning

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop tools and interrogate data to drive process improvements

- Proven ability to manage S&OP processes and work across multiple portfolios in a complex environment

- Excellent stakeholder management skills – you build trust easily and can influence without authority

- University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field (APICS certification would be highly regarded)

- Experience in medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries (desirable)

- Lean/Six Sigma qualifications (desirable)
