The role will be reporting directly to the Vice President of Cardiometabolic Marketing.

 

The position
As a Marketing Manager for Insulin, you will lead and co-ordinate the use of marketing resources and product marketing processes to drive the planning and promotion of group products, and devise market strategies and sales tactics to achieve profit objectives. 
Your main responsibilities include the following:

  • Deliver annual business results for the selected product group by leading the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans, managing promotional budgets, and ensuring alignment with company objectives while driving successful product launches and market positioning.
  • Manage customer segmentation, sales forecasting, market research projects, and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders to achieve qualitative and quantitative performance measures. 
  • Collaborate with various departments to prepare and implement new product marketing plans, forecast revenues, develop promotional budgets, and create effective product campaigns that enhance brand image and positioning. 
  • Coordinate with regional and global marketing teams, manage market research projects, ensure compliance with regulations for marketing materials, and maintain strong communication and support for the sales force and media relations.
  • Conduct field assessments, attend key industry events, and foster relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to enhance market understanding and integrate feedback into marketing strategies

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Science or Business Management-related discipline.
  • Minimum 5years’ experience in a marketing or commercial management role across pharmaceutical, medical devices, consumer health, or life science industries – a combination of such is a plus.
  • Successful track record with significant experience in product management, product launch or major product repositioning. Demonstrated Leadership in a people management role is a must.
  • Australian Citizen or have a current residency Visa to live and work in Australia.
