Your new role

In your future role, you will lead the sales team to outperform the competition and achieve their in-market sales targets by supporting their daily operational needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure proper resource allocation and effective execution of strategies and plans, and most importantly, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and developing the sales team by providing constructive feedback and leveraging tools and techniques such as the NN way of coaching and Talk2Grow.
  • Managing and motivating the sales force, including involvement in recruitment and execution of affiliate development programs.
  • Driving performance by setting targets aligned with market potential, monitoring results, and ensuring the achievement of sales objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance and sustainability by upholding high business ethics standards and maintaining long-term business continuity.
  • Managing key processes such as local public hospital tenders and product listing to enhance patient access.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to maximize resource allocation, strategic execution, and overall sales impact.
  • Building strong relationships by managing communication with distributors, key opinion leaders, and decision-makers involved in listing and policy-making.

 

Your new department

The District Sales manager role is part of our sales team in Oman. Our department is responsible for promoting and selling our healthcare products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and public institutions. We work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide them with the best solutions. Join our team and contribute to our mission of defeating serious chronic diseases.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We seek a professional who can collaborate with local distributors to ensure smooth business operations, engage with key opinion leaders and decision makers to support and secure the listing of NN products, and liaise with internal teams—including Marketing, Market Access, and CMR—to maximize sales performance. You will also be responsible for convincing local authorities of the value of new innovations while navigating complex local administrative processes.

 

To be successful in this role:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Experience in consumer markets or pharmaceuticals.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a people management role.
  • Must have a solid experience in the Omani market.
  • Demonstrated success in influential leadership, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing, collaborative teams.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and self-driven.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to operate effectively in a global matrix environment and across diverse cultural and scientific settings.
