About the department

Supply Chain is a part of Finance Logistics and IT Department. You will report to Senior Supply Chain Manager and will be a member of the team of 5 people.

 

The position

In the position of the Warehouse manager you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations as well as for quality management system support.

 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Ensure warehouse operations are performed in accordance with Russian legislation requirements and in line with Novo Nordisk standard operating procedures;
  • Control the work of the warehouse for goods receipt, storage and release;
  • Ensure that storage conditions and documents are in line with the requirements;
  • Carry out inventory checks;
  • Lead continuous improvement process to increase warehouse efficiency and reduce storage costs;
  • Introduce modern logistics approaches and information technologies into the organization of the warehouse;
  • Interact with logistics service providers employees (warehouse, transportation companies, customs broker);
  • Train warehouse staff and monitor compliance with the Company's standard operating procedures and Russian legislation;
  • Participate in external audits and inspections of all levels as well as carry out internal audits of the warehouse;
  • Analyze customer complaints regarding warehouse operations performance;
  • Provide reports on inventory and availability of free pallet spaces;
  • Create, implement and timely update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to the warehouse operations in accordance with the requirements of the Company's quality management system, acting as Content Responsible.
  • Ensure control of changes and proper work with nonconformities related to supply management, as well as the implementation of the necessary actions in the corporate novoGloW system. Communicate with local and global quality departments in dealing with nonconformities / planned changes;
  • Manage contracts with a warehouse service provider: negotiations, updates, problems solving, invoices and payments tracking in corporate IT systems;
  • Support shipments and work in the corporate ERP system: plan shipments from the plant in Kaluga and issue shipping documents in SAP system.

 

Qualifications

You have higher pharmaceutical education, qualification certificate of a specialist in “Management and Economics of Pharmacy" and a medical book.

You have Minimum three (3) years of experience at the same position as well as experience in quality management systems support.

From the technical perspective, you have PC skills: MS Office, SAP, IT systems designed to create change requests and register deviations (inconsistencies) in GxP processes (including temperature / transport deviations), good knowledge of records management and document flow in English. You are familiar with the proven process improvement & problem-solving skills. You have upper-intermediate English verbal & written communication skills including knowledge of professional vocabulary.

 

On a personal level, you are good at planning, coordinating & prioritizing activities in order to ensure optimal use of resources, as well as good negotiation, communication & collaboration skills. You demonstrate quick problem-solving capability and ability to work in stressful situations. You are also able to be initiative, innovative and proactive, to work independently and as a part of the team
