The position

 

As a LEAN Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Lead a team of experts in LEAN methodology based on Toyota experience.
  • Support, develop, and safeguard the standards in many factory areas.
  • Drive continuous improvement, problem-solving, and visual management across the factory.
  • Engage in direct contact with the director’s board and maintain visibility both at the factory and headquarters in Denmark.
  • Communicate fluently in English with different factories around the world.
  • Influence global decisions and adopt best practices from other cultures.
  • Plan, organize, and control resources/processes to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
  • Prioritize projects and initiatives that are aligned with the business strategy.
  • Be part of a group of managers that make key decisions that affect not only their own areas but the entire factory.
  • Be responsible for the program that develops and leverages the LEAN culture and training at the factory.
     

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Completed degree in engineering, business administration, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree in business management and/or people management.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluent Portuguese.
  • Experience with LEAN methodologies and tools, such as blackbelt certification, Shingo, and SPS.
  • Proficiency in Agile Methodology, Lean Thinking, Scrum principles, Kanban principles, and Kata.
  • Experience in people management skills, creating an engaging and diverse environment for the team.
  • Green and/or Black belt certification(s).
  • Experience in project management skills, running projects affecting different director areas.
  • Experience in using visual management tools, KPIs, trend analysis and Pareto charts.
