The Position

 

Location: Montes Claros/MG. The main responsibilities and duties include:

  • Support the implementation of new automation solutions with specific knowledge, in partnership with other stakeholders;
  • Analyze new equipment, actively participating in technical meetings with suppliers and other involved parties;
  • Participate in the development of solutions and improvements, including automation/computerized systems, for production equipment in collaboration with the technical and management team;
  • Conduct, document, and validate automation tests;
  • Be oriented towards continuous improvement using Lean methodologies to enhance quality, performance, and safety;
  • Analyze and create project documentation.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation, Computer Science or related fields;
  • Advanced English (will be tested);
  • Solid experience in industrial equipment automation, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Knowledge of Lean tools such as PDCA, A3, Kanban, Kaizen KPIs, 5S;
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum);
  • Mindset agil;
  • Experience in building SCADA and PLC systems.
  • Air Compressors:
    • Specific courses or experience on air compressors, covering types, maintenance, air treatment systems and energy efficiency.
  • Steam Engines and Boilers:
    • Courses or experience on boiler operation and maintenance, water treatment, safety in steam systems and regulatory standards (such as NR-13).
  • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning):
    • Courses or experience on refrigeration systems, principles of thermodynamics, temperature and humidity control, and energy efficiency in HVAC systems.
  • Reverse Osmosis:
    • Courses or experience on water treatment systems using reverse osmosis, membranes, pre-treatment and water quality.
  • Instrumentation and Control:
    • Courses on sensors, transmitters, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory and data acquisition systems (SCADA).
