The Position

The focus of this role is act as reliability engineer expert in the implementation and management of advanced maintenance and reliability strategies in alignment with industry standards, ensuring the performance and reliability of our assets.

The position gives a chance to provide incredible stakeholder management within the sites globally (Brazil, USA, Denmark, France and China), by fostering a reliability and maintenance culture, leading RCM analysis, revising maintenance plans and supporting on Knowledge Sharing among the technical networks.

This role offers an opportunity for engaging in travel activities to visit sites (up to 20% of the time) and offer remote support to the global team.

 

The main tasks will be to:

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the SME to provide technical support to the site and stakeholders. Review and develop maintenance and reliability plans, specifications, and SOPs.
  • Maintenance and Reliability Plan Development: Support the development, implementation, and improvement of equipment and system maintenance and reliability plans.
  • Continuous Improvement: Innovate and champion continuous improvement initiatives, including verifying process equipment and design requirements.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge with local and international facilities and develop knowledge of risk assessment documents.
  • Project Management: Manage maintenance and reliability projects to ensure quality and schedule adherence within the area of responsibility.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor members of the maintenance and reliability team.
  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyse data to predict equipment failures and optimize maintenance and reliability strategies.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A min. bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or automation.
  • Several years with hands-on experience in asset management in a related field, particularly in reliability of complex assets and systems (performing FMEA, RCA, RCM, RBM and maintenance program development, etc).
  • Practical expertise and ample experience in project management methodologies, stakeholder management, and leading international teams.
  • Certifications in reliability and/or maintenance (e.g., CMRP, CMRT, etc) and knowledge of LEAN, Reliability post-graduation, which is considered a plus.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

 

As a person, you have excellent communication skills, with strong stakeholder management skills and experience. With strong experience in working with diverse teams and stakeholders, you can easily communicate with colleagues globally.

 

Being a good listener, with a degree of leadership skills, while also being a team player who works well independently is crucial in this role.
