The Position

Location: Montes Claros/MG. The main responsibilities and duties include:

  • Lead the improvement and implementation of automation systems.
  • Define new solutions for assembly lines and provide support for emerging technologies.
  • Ensure the development of systems is robust and error-free.
  • Apply technical knowledge to introduce and implement necessary technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to understand and specify business requirements.
  • Solve technical challenges that impact production and minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in industrial automation.
  • Participate weekly in global meetings for alignment and knowledge exchange.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation Engineering or related fields;
  • Advanced English (will be tested);
  • Solid proven experience in industries and/or manufacturing;
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of SCADA systems (Factory Talk View Site Edition);
  • Programming languages: Python, STL, Ladder; knowledge of other programming languages related to automation will also be considered a plus.
  • Experience with PLC Siemens, Rockwell and Schneider;
  • Familiarity with Digital Twin, Virtual Commissioning;
  • Knowledge of Plant Simulation, Process Simulation.
  • Knowledge of vision systems: Cognex and Jli;
  • Knowledge and experience with communication protocols Ethernet, Profibus, ASI, Netbios and Fieldbus.
  • Logic Apigraf and Mikron/Apigraf (desirable).
