Patient Support Manager - Digital Experience & Product Lead

Are you passionate about creating digital experiences that are effortless, intuitive, and engaging? Do you believe accessing healthcare support should be as smooth and user‑friendly as the best digital experiences people rely on every day?  If you’re a product designer, UX/UI specialist, or digital innovator who thrives on solving real user problems, we invite you to lead the digital transformation of our patient support experience at Novo Nordisk Canada.

The position

As a Patient Support Manager - Digital Experience & Product Lead at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Design and own the patient journey: Lead the end-to-end design of digital patient support experiences – from online enrolment to self-service tools and beyond. Map every touchpoint, remove friction, and make every interaction simple, accessible, and empowering.
  • Champion user-centered design: Build patient-first digital experiences – across web, messaging, and other digital touchpoints – that match the clarity and ease of leading consumer brands.
  • Make the system work end-to-end: Align front-end journeys with back-end platforms (e.g. CRM and supporting systems) to enable accurate data capture and information flow.
  • Build like a product owner: Partner with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and external technology partners to deliver solutions that are robust, scalable, and compliant – but never at the expense of user experience.
  • Leverage data for delight: Use analytics, user feedback, and behavioural insights to continuously improve adoption, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Design for a high-regulation environment: Build digital experiences that meet strict requirements around patient safety, privacy, and responsible communication, ensuring compliance without compromising usability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in UX, product design, service design, or digital product management, with a strong track record delivering polished, high-quality digital experiences.
  • Experience setting vision or contributing to digital product strategy is an asset.
  • Proven ability to work across functions (e.g. Marketing, Data, Legal, Compliance, etc.) and with external technology partners to bring digital solutions to life.
  • Comfort designing in a regulated healthcare environment – balancing user needs with requirements around privacy, approved messaging, and accuracy (prior pharma experience not required).
  • Hands-on experience using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and behavioural insights to drive adoption, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in healthcare or pharma is an asset, but not required. We value fresh perspectives from consumer tech, e-commerce, fintech, travel, or other consumer sectors building modern digital experiences.
