Marketing Associate Director

Purpose of the job:
Manages the marketing of specific brand(s), analyzes market trends, monitors competitor trends, identifies market requirements and opportunities, and develops and executes approved marketing plans and strategies to meet current and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve overall business goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create promotional strategies and supporting materials.
- Communicate cycle strategy and tools to the sales force to drive business outcomes.
- Monitor product performance against objectives, identify challenges, and recommend changes as necessary.
- Manage the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
GOALS
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to ensure the achievement of business goals which ensures the overall success of NNCI.
- Develop through consultation with key internal and external stakeholders promotional strategies, supporting materials, and programs to drive the brand/portfolio success.
- Communicate the rollout of cycle strategy, tools, and programs to the sales force that will drive business results.
- Monitor and analyze product performance against objectives through review of regular market tracking reports, identify issues, challenges, or successes, and recommend changes as appropriate to meet business goals.
- Manage the successful initiation, completion, and execution of projects (on time and on budget) with external vendors and/or internal stakeholders to develop programs and sales tools that will drive business results.
- Lead the cross-functional business team on projects aligned to strategic objectives. Allocate resources, delegate work, and establish norms on the cross-functional team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in science or commerce; MBA preferred.
- At least 7 years of pharmaceutical experience, with a minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical marketing.
- Pharmaceutical sales experience is highly recommended.
- Strong understanding of diabetes or obesity markets and treatment options.
