Field Force Effective Manager

                                                                                    

Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Director Executive Office, Insights & Analytics, the Field Force Effectiveness Manager is responsible designing and providing business analysis and competitive intelligence and implementing accurate and timely key metric deliverables to head office and the field. Ensures analysis and findings are brought to the relevant stakeholders to support strategic decision making.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • The Field Force Effectiveness Manager effectively develops insights and recommendations upon which key strategic decisions will be based and is also assigned to provide advanced analytical support to the sales department.
  • Lead the design and technical implementation of the sales force incentive plan.
  • Participates with Sales Management on changes and developments in the Incentive Plan design.
  • Participates in the strategic design and facilitates the technical execution of territory alignments and customer segmentation/targeting.
  • Designs and implements automated reporting solutions that summarize and deliver accurate and timely key insights and metrics to head office and the field (Xponent, TSA, LRx/GPM, etc.)
  • Provides training to Field Force employees on report understanding, analysis and usage and to ensure new Sales Representatives are trained on Novo Nordisk’s data confidentiality requirements for all data pertaining to IQVIA and other suppliers.
  • Provides support to the Field Force Effectiveness team with the interpretation of sales results and market trends along with month end reporting to the Executive Team.
  • Provides support to the Sales Organization through the resolution of data questions and concerns as required.
  • Maintains data parameters with IQVIA and other data sources as well as within the internal data warehouse structure, including territory alignments/maintenance, new products, market definitions – changes and additions.
  • Liaises with IT acting as the data steward or directly implements, where appropriate, changes to reporting systems and other data sources as required.

 

Key Compliance Accountabilities:

  • Conducts all activities in accordance with the Novo Nordisk Way
  • Complies with Novo Nordisk Quality Business Processes and Policies as outlined in ISOtrain by completing the required training and filing the corresponding Read and Understood Form in ISOtrain or the Training archive in order to ensure up to date information
  • Ensures compliance with all IQVIA confidentiality requirements for acquisition and use of IQVIA data and solutions

 

Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):

    •   Bachelor’s Degree (ideally in Business, Science, or Engineering)

 

Preferred Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience demonstrating a steady career progression with increasing roles of responsibility.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience in either primary market research, competitive intelligence, analytics, or market access.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales experience is an asset but not a requirement
  • Experience working with IQVIA is preferred.
  • A high degree of technical aptitude is required, with advanced knowledge of Excel, Tableau, Power BI VBA, MS Access, etc.) and understanding of relational databases.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Works in an open-office environment with exposure to multiple demands from multiple stakeholders, short deadlines, and frequent interruptions.
  • Little exposure to hazards while performing duties of the job.
