Digital Platforms & Enablement Manager, Medical Excellence

Location: Ontario, Mississauga

Lead the digital transformation of Medical Affairs. Shape how we engage healthcare professionals, enable our teams, and translate strategic priorities into platforms that work. This is where business meets technology — and where your work will directly strengthen how we serve patients and partners across the organization.

Your new role

As Digital Platforms & Enablement Manager within Medical Excellence, you'll sit at the intersection of business, technology, and Medical Affairs strategy. You'll serve as the platform owner for Medical & Regulatory digital systems and a key enabler of the Medical Excellence agenda — translating business priorities into digital capabilities that help every function execute more effectively.

In this role, you will:

- Serve as the platform owner for Medical & Regulatory digital systems, partnering with functional business owners and IT to translate strategic needs into platform enhancements that enable every Medical Affairs function to execute effectively

- Drive platform adoption across Medical Excellence through training programs, user guides, and ongoing enablement support to ensure teams get full value from their tools

- Champion data quality and governance across all M&R digital platforms, ensuring systems are reliable, insights-ready, and support Medical Affairs' reporting and decision-making

- Lead strategic initiatives across Medical Excellence, including new ways of working, customer engagement frameworks, scientific engagement programs, and digital transformation projects

- Maintain and advance the medical reporting platform, delivering operationalized reporting across syndicated and proprietary data sources to support measurement and business decision-making

- Perform data analysis and develop analytic solutions that generate insights on platform adoption, HCP engagement, and channel effectiveness to inform Medical Affairs strategy and investment decisions

- Manage project delivery end-to-end — defining objectives, timelines, and budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors, and proactively resolving risks to ensure on-time, compliant outcomes

Your new department

In Research & Development, you'll be part of a unit that explores bold scientific ideas and advances them into clinical testing. We combine curiosity, AI tools, and human data to develop transformative therapies. Through collaboration and operational excellence, we shape and deliver an innovative pipeline to meet future patient needs.

Within R&D sits Medical Excellence — a team dedicated to enabling Medical Affairs to operate at its best. We ensure our people have the right platforms, insights, and ways of working to engage healthcare professionals effectively and deliver on our medical mandate. This is a team that thinks strategically, acts collaboratively, and uses technology as a lever for impact.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a strategic thinker who is as comfortable engaging IT partners as they are translating business needs into digital solutions. You'll bring with you:

- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, health sciences, or a related field (required); degrees in information technology, computer science, or engineering also considered. Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MSc, MASc, MEng) preferred

- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare, with a strong understanding of Medical Affairs, medical excellence, or commercial operations

- Comfort working with platforms such as Salesforce and Veeva; able to engage IT partners confidently as an informed business partner without being deeply technical

- Familiarity with compliance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks relevant to Medical Affairs (Health Canada, IMC codes, GxP systems)

- Proven project management abilities with experience managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, and budgets

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and use evidence to drive platform and engagement decisions

- Experience deploying or managing digital engagement channels — including omnichannel platforms, AI-driven tools, or self-serve portals — within a pharmaceutical or healthcare context

- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels of the organization, with an accountability and ownership mindset

- Excellent communication skills, able to bridge business and technical teams with clarity and confidence

- Self-motivated and collaborative, with a track record of delivering in cross-functional environments
