Sales Forecasting Coordinator
Mexico City, Mexico City, MX
Finance & Operations Department
Ciudad de Mexico
Own the S&OP process, build the business cases behind new launches, and turn market data into forecasts that guide decisions across Finance, Supply Chain and the Business Units.
Your new role
As our new Sales Forecasting Coordinator, you will lead the S&OP process and translate market signals into forecasts that guide commercial, financial and supply chain decisions. This is a role for someone who thrives on connecting the dots – challenging assumptions, building business cases for new launches, developing robust forecasts through multiple forecasting methodologies, and finding creative ways to answer questions when the data isn't fully there yet.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Coordinating and actively contributing to monthly and quarterly S&OP cycles, consolidating inputs and aligning cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain and the Business Units
- Leading consumption and trend analysis – patient dynamics, seasonality and demand drivers – by combining internal data with external market intelligence
- Building business cases for new product launches, bringing together commercial, financial and operational perspectives
- Presenting key insights, risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders, and translating complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations
- Ensuring data accuracy, governance and integrity across forecasting inputs, dashboards and reports
- Driving automation and efficiency through advanced Excel tools, macros and BI platforms
Your new department
You will join our Finance & Operations team, reporting to the Sales Forecasting Manager and collaborating closely with Business Unit Directors, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Market Access, Supply Chain and Business Finance. It is a fast-paced environment at the heart of our commercial transformation – where traditional pharma thinking is being reshaped by a bold consumer focus, and where your analytical judgment directly informs how we plan, launch and grow.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a curious, analytical professional who is comfortable working with ambiguity and confident balancing statistical models with commercial judgment. You bring:
- 3-4+ years of experience in forecasting, business insights, demand planning or S&OP – ideally within FMCG, Pharma OTC or consumer-health environments with a strong consumption lens
- Strong experience in consumption-based analysis and demand drivers, with the ability to build a comprehensive market view from multiple internal and external data sources
- Advanced Excel skills (mandatory): complex modelling, advanced formulas, and hands-on development and maintenance of Macros (VBA) to handle large volumes of information
- A completed university degree (mandatory) in Administration, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Economics or a related field
- Experience with BI tools – primarily Power BI, and/or Tableau and forecasting platforms – is a strong plus
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions at senior levels
