About the department
Novo Nordisk has a unique opportunity for a science-driven and customer focused-professional, to partner with Specialists in achieving better patient outcomes with innovative medicines and medical activities for new medicines in Rare Blood Diseases Novo Nordisk is a global company with a fast-growing number of employees in Oceania and more than 74,000 around the world. You will report to the Medical Science Liaison Manager, and be part of an experienced and di-verse Clinical, Medical and Regulatory team, with an excellent opportunity to develop and refine your skills.
The position
As a Senior Medical S.cience Liaison, you will:
· Establish and maintain clinical and scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
· Execute medical communication plans to internal and external customers, collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, PAPA, CMR CDC, and GMA.
· Support pre-launch and product launch activities, including training, KOL mapping, and site identification.
· Develop and execute key customer engagement plans to increase awareness and advo-cacy of our products.
· Drive scientific communication strategies and provide input to clinical trials and RWE plans, as well as define and execute publication strategies and provide medical educa-tion through scientific meetings and symposia.
Qualifications
· Must possess a PharmD, or Ph. D or M.D.
· At least 2 years of demonstrated MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Experi-ence in Haematology highly desirable.
· Displays business acumen/knowledge based on experiences such as participation in for-mulary process decisions.
· Peer-level knowledge in the target therapeutic areas.
· Must either be an Australian citizen or have a current residency Visa to live and work in Australia.
