You will be part of the Diabetes Business Unit and will be directly reporting to the Diabetes Marketing Director. The role will be working across functions, as well as relevant healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and other significant groups.

 

The position
The Product Manager will support the development and execution of local product marketing strategies and sales execution. This person is responsible for following through on the activation of marketing programs with internal stakeholders to achieve short- and long-term business objectives. Other role expectations are as follows but is not limited to:

  • In this role, you will support the development and execution of the product marketing plan by driving insights from internal and external stakeholders to shape strategic priorities. You will assist in creating both annual and long-term brand strategies, manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient resource allocation, and monitor the implementation of marketing strategies, taking corrective actions as needed. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of product campaigns, including advertising and promotional materials for the sales force.
  • You will assist in communicating product promotions and marketing plans to the sales force to ensure alignment with Novo Nordisk's strategy. You will regularly monitor sales performance and provide feedback, support training for both current and new sales representatives, and foster strategic business partnerships with Sales, Medical, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and Procurement departments.
  • You will assist in identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and managing interactions with relevant external agencies to ensure the successful execution of brand strategies.
  • Ensure strict business ethics at all times; maintain adherence to local law, NNWay and NN policies and guidelines.
  • Must have the ability to drive ambitious results, cultivate innovation, lead through uncertainty, instill safety and trust, maintain focus on patients and customers, demonstrate curiosity and experimentation, master the Novo Nordisk Way of Customer Engagement, and orchestrate omni-/multichannel engagements.

 

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry in marketing or a related field.
  • Must have knowledge of the current pharmaceutical market landscape. Experience in Diabetes therapeutic area is desirable.
  • Relevant academic degree within medical or business Marketing specialization is preferred 
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken.
