The Position

As a P&O Director, you will oversee the development and implementation of short and medium-term plans for internal communications in affiliate, considering affiliate aspiration/strategy, and international organization. As a requirement of the business ethics, the role will be defending the confidentiality of companies, as well as patients’ secrets, business plans, ideas, and strategies of third parties.

This position will report to the Vice President and General Manager of Novo Nordisk Philippines.

  • You will monitor compliance of employment practices to local and internal labour requirements set-up, implement and maintain HR procedures, as well as guidelines and policies.
  • Coordinate with department managers to identify accomplishment needed for Philippine employees and provide strategic HR help to ensure that local capacity meet the core proficiency identified. You will also facilitate and/or planning of training courses for all employees and evaluation of training effectiveness.
  • You will be accountable of the key drivers for recruitment, selection process, update SAP HR system, conduct employee orientation for new employees and facilitate all personnel movements such as regularisations, promotions, lateral transfers, reclassifications, resignations, and terminations.
  • Provide help to line managers in performance management, career counselling of employees, management of grievances, and other HR related issues and drive the proper conduct, oversee documentation of the yearly performance appraisal exercise and appraisal results.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in P&O preferably gained in the Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry.
  • Strengths in Organization Development, HR strategy and planning are important.
  • Experiences in Global Multinational Corporations are needed.
  • University degree in P&O, Organizational Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant areas. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English communication skills and relevant IT skills.
