The position

The purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of the local Obesity strategy by creating awareness of Novo Nordisk in and amongst the Obesity Market, establishing the foundation of disease understanding for future growth. This role will also be expected to work with the Southeast Asia Commercial Affairs and Strategy team as well as working on a cross-functional basis at a local level ensuring that all stakeholder/customer needs and perspectives are considered, ensuring that local plans & tactics are prioritised based on largest potential and the highest rate of return/investment.
 Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic and mathodical plans in alignment with global and regional directions. Delivering sales and market share objectives.
  • Gaining customer insights and internal feedback and executing and managing marketing plans, projects, and tactics.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on marketing activity and results and representing the affiliate at meetings and task forces.
  • Informing brand strategy, positioning, and key messages to the organization. Developing networks and healthcare partnerships with key influencers and customer.
  • Managing the national obesity marketing and field sales teams and leading and developing direct reports through coaching and mentoring.

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken and Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in marketing within the ethical pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a people manager role.
  • Deep knowledge of the current pharmaceutical and market situation.
  • Portfolio management experience and Knowledge on relevant marketing tools/MIS/system.
