Your new role

As Lead Medical Manager, you'll be the scientific voice of Novo Nordisk in the Philippines, bridging cutting-edge research with clinical practice. You'll engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to ensure our therapies reach the patients who need them most, while maintaining the highest standards of medical excellence and ethical practice.

Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining deep scientific expertise in our therapy areas and communicating evidence-based medical information to healthcare professionals in line with global and local strategies
• Leading scientific activities and stakeholder engagements that are aligned with medical-marketing strategies and fully compliant with ethical standards and local regulations
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals, ensuring Novo Nordisk's profile remains prominent in the medical community
• Acting as medical reviewer and certifier of promotional materials in Veeva PromoMats, ensuring all content meets rigorous scientific and regulatory standards
• Leading data generation activities, publication planning, and literature surveillance to identify new insights on product safety and efficacy
• Facilitating new product launches by providing medical guidance and training to internal teams
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and market access to design educational programs and shape brand strategies

Your new department

You'll be joining the Clinical Medical, Regulatory & Pharmacovigilance (CMRPV) Department in the Philippines. This team plays a crucial role in driving strategic development and execution, providing insights to shape business decisions, leading scientific exchanges to support high-quality education, and identifying evidence gaps for key stakeholders. The CMRPV Department ensures the success of a growing Novo Nordisk portfolio—encompassing both established and pipeline products—and reports directly to the Head of CMRPV.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a Lead Medical Manager who combines clinical expertise with strategic thinking and collaborative leadership. You'll bring with you:

• Licensed physician with minimum 2 years post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in relevant therapeutic areas such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and other related endocrine disorders
• Postgraduate medical qualification (desirable)
• Strong scientific acumen with the ability to translate complex medical evidence into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals, treating stakeholders as true partners
• Experience collaborating across functions and driving results in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to facilitate medical education and training
• Commitment to the highest standards of business ethics, compliance, and patient-centricity in all activities
• Curiosity and willingness to experiment, challenge the status quo, and continuously seek better ways to serve patients
