The position
As a Business Insights Manager, you will be integral to advancing our strategic initiatives through the application of data and insights. You will be responsible for data extraction, visualization, reporting, and providing insights recommendations to drive our strategic initiatives forward. You will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable business insights, analyzing affiliate performance, engaging with key accounts, leading target setting and forecasting efforts, and developing pricing strategies. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to business planning and automation, providing comprehensive insights that influence demand and promote continuous improvement. You will also lead projects and network with regional partners to support the affiliate's strategic goals and aspirations.
Other responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to: 

  • Identify, collect, and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness to support business analysis and reporting needs. Leverage tools like Power BI to create and maintain dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights in a visually appealing and easily understandable format for stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly in-market sales, support budgeting and business planning, and identify key opportunities and challenges for management. Leverage data extraction techniques to gather relevant information, generate actionable insights, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance business performance, effectively guiding stakeholder decision-making.
  • Maintain ongoing discussions with Key Accounts to optimize sales channels and share market insights. Support these engagements by extracting and analysing relevant data and use visualizations to effectively present findings and recommendations.
  • Lead target setting, sales forecasting, and budget planning by leveraging historical data and ensuring accuracy in the PDI system, while providing visual representations of targets and forecasts. Drive business planning through performance analysis, development of business cases for product launches, and demand shaping, utilizing tools like Power BI to automate processes and promote continuous improvement.
  • Develop pricing business cases, collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional counterparts, and manage affiliate pricing in the Pricing 360 system. Utilize data extraction techniques to gather market and pricing information and create visualizations to convey pricing strategies and their impacts effectively. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Preferably 3-4 years in a quantitative field with a track record of delivering actionable insights through advanced data analysis.
  • Experiences with using analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL or similar platforms are required.
  • The ability to translate strategies into ambitious goals, Innovative mindset, demonstrated flexibility and curiosity, in addition to strong analytical skills and communication skills
