About the department
You will be part of the Obesity Business Unit at Novo Nordisk Pharma Philippines Inc. Our team is responsible in promoting and selling our products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions. We focus on developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the success of our sales operations. Our dynamic and collaborative environment is based in the Philippines, where we work together to make a difference in the lives of patients.
The position
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for pursuing the sales achievement of defined sales targets in given territory. The BDR pursues active leads among target segments and develops new customers to generate demand through the implementation of tailored tactical initiatives. The BDR improves the product value to customers, by developing local strategies and tactics aligned to the Novo Nordisk Way.
As a Business Development Representative, you will:
- Lead business development of target customer segments and identify potential areas for demand growth.
- Develop demand generation strategies and execute territory-based programs focused on demand longevity.
- Orchestrating high-value meetings with gatekeepers and stakeholders necessary for segment development.
- Act as a key resource for healthcare professionals, providing technical support, and conducting competitor surveillance and analysis.
- Identify potential partnerships and collaborations, provide sales forecasts, and ensure compliance with ethical practice and regulations in Health Care Professional (HCP) interactions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a four-year undergraduate course in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, or related field, with English proficiency.
- Experienced in pharmaceutical sales with a go-getter mindset, insight-driven & patient-centric approaches, and omnichannel and digital strategies.
- Proficient in sales strategies, product promotion, and establishing strong customer relationships, with in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical products and their applications.
- Skilled in collaborative teamwork, effective communication, persuasive techniques, and efficient task organization to meet sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and adaptability to changes in the healthcare industry, market trends, and customer preferences.
