You will be part of a dynamic team focused on expanding Novo Nordisk’s presence in the healthcare ecosystem. This role will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, medical, and external stakeholders, ensuring sustainable and strategic partnerships that drive commercial success.
The position
As a Business Development Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Develop and present strategic business plans by collaborating with the affiliate management to define short-, medium-, and long-term growth strategies. You will assist in preparing business plans, reports, budgets, and forecasts to drive strategic initiatives.
- Identify and negotiate external innovation deals by scouting new strategic opportunities, leading due diligence processes, and finalizing contractual agreements with key partners such as integrated healthcare ecosystem providers, telemedicine providers, pharmacies and hospitals.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Assess new market opportunities by evaluating potential growth areas and identifying new therapy channels that align with Novo Nordisk’s business objectives.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or health technology industry.
- Proven track record in external commercial partnerships, alliance management, and market expansion.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills to drive impactful collaborations. Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively within tight timelines.
- A solid understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and business drivers that influence strategic decision-making.
