About the department
Novo Nordisk Philippines is a vital part of our global organization. As a Tax and Accounting Specialist, you will be reporting to the Business Area South East Asia (BASEA) Accounting and Tax Manager and indirectly to the Finance & Operations Director in the Philippines. You will be joining a team devoted to ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. The position
As a Tax and Accounting Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will be in charge of:

• Ensuring accurate financial reporting according to corporate and local guidelines and maintaining compliance with Novo Nordisk principles and internal legal laws to defend company interests.
• Securing a strong financial control environment through efficient internal controls and procedures, ensuring accurate monthly and yearly financial reporting to HQ and local authorities, and maintaining compliance with financial policies and laws within Accounting, Tax, and Transfer Pricing.
• Managing Tax and Transfer Pricing reporting in accordance with corporate and local guidelines, while also serving as a reliable finance partner to the local affiliate and offering assistance in financial reporting aligned with corporate guidelines and local legislations.
• Acting as the Accounting Responsible for the Philippines, serving as a backup within BASEA Center of Excellence (COEs), actively contributing the COE's success through knowledge sharing and engagement, and driving standardization and efficiency across the Business Area for all processes.
• Providing ad hoc support to local finance functions in regards to financial corrections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong accounting and/or tax knowledge and at least 4 - 5 years of experience in related field.
• Hands on experience with month end reporting, local statutory reporting and all tax submissions to local authorities.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and excellent logical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint will be favorable.
