We are currently searching for a Commercial Insights Analyst for Novo Nordisk Sweden, who would be reporting to the Finance & Operations Director.

 

About the department

The Finance & Operations department in Novo Nordisk Sweden is a commercially oriented organisation, supporting the Swedish affiliate with in-depth market analysis, budgeting, reporting, supply chain and commercial IT tools. The department consists of highly dedicated professionals, and the team is characterised by high energy, collaboration, and trust. You’ll join an ambitious and agile team with a friendly working environment and good-spirited atmosphere within the department. 

 

The position

We are looking for a person with an interest in finance partnering, market analysis and generating actionable insight for the organisation. The position offers great opportunities for functional and personal development as well as being part of a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry and direct access to the country (affiliate) Management Team.

You will be the dedicated finance business partner to the Rare Disease Unit and your responsibility will be to deliver planning figures and monthly reporting to the unit, decision recommendations as well as commercial insights to the field force and management team. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting analysis of the market to the country Management Team.

In your role as a finance business partner to the organisation you will identify gaps and challenge the Rare Disease Unit and drive an improved market understanding. Your focus areas will be providing strong analytical support through business partnering to brand plan processes and market access strategies. Your other responsibilities will include gathering business intelligence, developing scenarios, building sales forecasts, and ensuring anchoring in the budget process.

Furthermore, you hold a key role in supporting a reporting setup for the multichannel engagement activities, which is becoming a focus area within our affiliate. It makes it a   great opportunity to drive a new area in close collaboration with our commercial development team.

 

Qualifications

You hold a relevant master’s diploma (for example, in finance or economics), and you are either graduating now or have a few years of relevant experience with a proven track record

You are proactive, curious and enjoy the combination of analytical tasks with communicating insights to the business

Other key personal qualifications include a good sense of humour, and a high level of energy

You are fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of one of the Scandinavian languages (written and spoken) can be an advantage

Experience with business systems (e.g. SAP BO, IO Engage and / or PowerBI) is an advantage.
