Student Assistant / Werkstudent:in - Digital, Data & IT

If so, we are looking for a student assistant to join our Digital, Data & IT (DDIT) team in Germany!

Build the digital infrastructure that connects our treatments to patients across the globe.

Your new role

As a Student Assistant in Digital, Data & IT, you'll support in maintaining and improving the technical systems that enable our commercial operations. This is more than IT support – you'll be problem-solving, automating processes, and directly supporting sales teams as they bring life-changing treatments to patients.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Administering Windows Server components including Active Directory, IIS, and file shares to keep critical systems running smoothly
• Supporting and troubleshooting FTP/SFTP transfers and scheduled jobs, monitoring logs and investigating transfer failures
• Managing user access provisioning while following security best practices for keys and certificates
• Writing simple runbooks and technical documentation that make processes clearer for everyone
• Collaborating with business users to understand their requirements and support testing of new solutions
• Supporting training of new sales representatives (e.g. Novo Onboarding) and improving user experience through automation

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a curious, technically minded student who enjoys solving problems and making systems work better. You'll bring with you:

• Currently studying IT, Computer Science or a similar field
• Basic familiarity with Windows Server and networking concepts (TCP/IP, ports)
• Knowledge of FTP/SFTP concepts and comfort using clients like WinSCP
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell or Bash) or a strong willingness to learn
• Database knowledge, especially queries; ideally familiarity with MS Access and Power BI
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders
• German and English language skills

Your new department

Within the german affiliate, you'll be embedded in the Customer Engagement & Operations / Strategy department in Germany. Our Digital, Data & IT team ensures that the technical infrastructure supporting our commercial operations runs seamlessly, enabling our sales teams to focus on what matters most – reaching patients who need our medicines.
