Your new role
As Senior Manager Insights & Digital Innovation, you'll be the strategic bridge between data, digital capabilities, and commercial success. You'll lead our omnichannel customer engagement (OCE) insights strategy, partnering closely with business units to transform customer signals into measurable outcomes. This role goes far beyond traditional analytics—you'll be a consulting partner for digital transformation, enabling the organization to make faster, smarter decisions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the Insights, OCE and digital innovation team with clear and strong vision, as well as clearly defined ambitions linked to business priorities.
- Leading the OCE insights strategy with the team, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive commercial growth
- Understanding business needs and presenting digital solutions that serve our strategy, supporting implementation and delivering new data insights
- Partnering with Lines of Business to define KPIs, interpret data, and embed insights into commercial planning and execution
- Measuring impact across the customer engagement funnel and demonstrating ROI
- Establishing and ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance standards
- Acting as a data, insights, and OCE consulting partner for the organization
- Communicating insights through compelling storytelling to senior stakeholders and enabling data literacy across teams
- Collaborating with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Medical, Commercial IT) and external partners (data providers like IQVIA, digital partners, OCE agencies)

You'll be based in our Germany affiliate in Mainz, one of the largest and most strategic markets within International Operations, home to more than 500 employees. Within Customer Engagement & Operations/Strategy, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating our digital transformation journey. Our team sits at the intersection of data, technology, and commercial strategy—enabling the organization to deliver seamless omnichannel experiences and data-driven decisions that fuel growth.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a digital-savvy strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to lead and drive transformation. You'll bring:
- Minimum 5 years of business/commercial-related experience, ideally in pharmaceutical or healthcare
- Minimum 3 years of digital/data/IT-related experience with deep understanding of digital transformation
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
- 3 years of project management experience
- Strong OCE knowledge and proven track record in data & insights
- Strategic focus and business understanding with the ability to translate technical capabilities into commercial value
- Experience in partnering functions, working cross-functionally, and consulting internal stakeholders
- Outstanding leadership and change management skills with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Client- and service-oriented approach with excellent storytelling capabilities
- University degree in Business, Strategy, Innovation, Computer Science, or Econometrics; advanced degree (MBA, MD) ideally within IT strategy is preferred
- Fluent in English, both written and oral; German is an advantage
