Your new role
As a Senior Data Insights Lead, you will be in charge of leading the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex commercial data from multiple sources to inform strategic business decisions, develop and maintain advanced analytical models to forecast market trends and assess business performance. You will also synthesise data and insights to create compelling narratives that inform and guide leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, sales and product teams). Moreover, you will:
- Provide advice and guidance to commercial leaders in translating their need for insights into technical and functional requirements for data and analytics use cases.
- Proactively identify key business challenges and opportunities through deep analytical insights and present findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse competitor activities, market positioning, and product offerings to provide actionable insights to the organisation.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations summarising competitor landscapes and strategic implications for the business.
- Assess and interpret changing market dynamics and customer behaviours to anticipate industry trends and inform business strategies.

The position is anchored in Customer Engagement & Operations/Strategy of our German organization in Mainz and reports directly to the Senior Director of the department.
Your skills & qualifications
The person who will thrive in the role is an excellent communicator whose analytical skills with strong stakeholder management constitute a toolbox essential in navigating ambiguity.
Moreover, we search for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Degree in business, data science or other relevant field
- A few years of experience in project management experience from either relevant industry (such as e.g. pharma, biotech, or FMCG), either in-house or consulting.
- Solid international and cross-functional working experience
- Proven track record for simultaneously handling daily operations, large recurring deliverables, and complex business projects
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement, while fluent German skills are nice to have.
