About the International Operations Business Graduate Programme
Novo Nordisk International Operations encompasses markets in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, Oceania, and Latin America. Employees working within business in Novo Nordisk have a wide range of roles and responsibilities – but all share the same commitment to excellence and to drive continued success of the organisation.
During the programme you will work with senior managers within our commercial & marketing functions and build an international network of world-class colleagues, establishing yourself as one of tomorrow’s key people in business at Novo Nordisk.
We have designed the full-time position as an International Operations Business Graduate, so that, following its successful completion, you will be equipped with the necessary skills and experiences to become a valued and integral part of our company in your home country.

The position
During the two-year programme you will undertake three challenging and exciting rotations of eight-months duration, starting in your home country Germany, followed by two further international rotations which could include our headquarters in Denmark or International Operations Strategic Office in Zurich, an International Operations Regional Office or one of our many global affiliates. You will partner closely with your internal stakeholders and gain hands-on experience with business challenges and risks that pharmaceutical companies face in the marketplace, whilst learning how to impact the business with your acquired commercial understanding.
The rotations are shaped to suit your development needs, while meeting our business requirements and to ensure you build the required competences needed to become a future business leader in Novo Nordisk.
Please note: this specific graduate programme is targeted at candidates from Germany, or those who would like to start their careers in Germany and hold EU citizenship. We have many other tracks, which are open to applicants from anywhere in the world.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed as an International Operation Business Graduate in Germany, we expect you to
have:
- EU citizenship
- A recent master's degree from 2024 or planned graduation in 2025, in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing or international business
- Above average academic achievements
- International experience, for example from studying a full semester abroad, working or volunteering
- Relevant work experience or extracurricular activities obtained next to your studies
- Team-player attitude, excellent communication skills, high drive, and an eagerness to learn
- No more than 1 year of full-time working experience between or after completing your master's degree
- Global mobility and international mindset
- Professional fluency in English essential. Basic command of German language is highly desirable
