Your new role

 

In this role, you will be a key driver of Commercial Excellence, combining analytical depth with cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer engagement, optimize sales performance, and elevate data-driven decision-making within Germany. You will work closely with Management and Sales teams to deliver meaningful performance insights, shape incentive strategies, strengthen internal processes, and support the development of tools that enable a high-performing commercial organization.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct regional market and customer analyses and develop performance reports using diverse data sources and tools.
  • Define, recommend and track KPIs for marketing and sales activities, integrating Sales Force Effectiveness and OCE principles.
  • Design, implement, and track sales incentive systems in collaboration with management and regional stakeholders.
  • Set and communicate sales targets at territory and regional levels to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare structured analyses and recommendations, provide timely reporting, and train stakeholders to improve data understanding.
  • Support process standardization and optimization within Commercial Excellence, including CRM and dashboard enhancements.
  • Manage cross-functional projects, coordinate meetings, monitor progress, and present on topics such as incentives, segmentation, and multichannel strategies.

Your skills & qualifications

 

  • A successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in Economics, Business or similar.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in commercial excellence, finance, consulting, sales or similar
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage, including knowledge of data sources
  • Project management and data analytics skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); skills in and experiences with Alteryx, PowerBI, QlikSense or Python/R are a plus
  • Native/business-fluent in both German and English
