Your new role

As Tax Expert within our Finance & Operations team, you'll ensure robust tax compliance and reporting processes that support our Spanish affiliate's growth. Reporting to the Accounting & Tax Senior Manager, you'll be the guardian of our tax operations, balancing regulatory excellence with strategic insight.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly and annual tax filings (IVA, IRPF, IS, Intrastat etc.) in close collaboration with external advisors
  • Coordinating the SII process and reconciliation with VAT books to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Supporting the annual preparation of Corporate Income Tax and Pillar 2 requirements, including adjustments, reconciliations, and documentation
  • Coordinating transfer pricing documentation with corporate teams
  • Managing statutory requirements to local authorities (INE, Bank of Spain, etc.)
  • Preparing internal tax exhibits for annual reporting cycles and coordinating internal and external audits and tax inspections
  • Leading the preparation, signature, and registration of annual statutory accounts
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency, digitalization, and compliance across all tax operations

 

Your new department

You'll be part of the Finance & Operations departments in Spain, which handles Business Finance, Accounting and Tax, Supply Chain and Procurement & Operations. This is a highly collaborative environment where you'll work closely with colleagues not only in Spain but cross-boarders to ensure seamless tax and financial operations that support our expanding portfolio and patient reach.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced tax professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. You'll bring:

  • University degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, Law or equivalent
  • At least 8 years' experience in tax gained from a multinational company. Consultancy experience and accounting experience is an advantage
  • Proven experience in preparing tax filings, managing tax inspections, and coordinating external audits
  • Experience with SAP is a strong advantage
  • Fluent English and Spanish – essential for daily collaboration with our India GSB team and Denmark Corporate team
  • Strong analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset and ability to identify process improvements
