Your new role

As Senior Manager Supply Chain, you will define and execute the supply chain strategy for Spain, ensuring reliable product availability while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Reporting to the Senior Director Finance and Operations Spain, you will play a key role in shaping the local supply chain agenda.

You will:

  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy, aligning local priorities with regional and global frameworks
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team, fostering engagement, capability growth, and continuous improvement
  • Own and drive the Sales & Operations Planning process, enabling strong cross-functional planning and decision-making
  • Ensure compliant, efficient, and high-performing supply chain operations, including GDP and audit readiness
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including launches and discontinuations

In this role, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing senior stakeholders and representing Spain in regional governance forums.

 

Your new department

You will join the Finance and Operations Leadership team, working at the heart of the business to ensure strong operational execution and sustainable growth. As part of the broader EUCAN and Global Supply Chain network, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Quality, and Customer Service, as well as external partners such as 3PLs, wholesalers, and logistics providers. This is a highly visible role with significant impact, providing the opportunity to influence strategy, drive innovation, and strengthen supply chain capabilities in a dynamic and evolving environment.

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for supply chain leader who thrives in a complex and fast-paced environment, and who can combine operational excellence with strong stakeholder engagement.

You will bring:

  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Solid experience leading supply chain operations (Sales & Operations Planning, logistics, distribution) in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GDP, audits, product availability, inventory management, and external partner management
  • Proven direct leadership experience as People Manager, with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience working across regional or global environments.
  • Fluent English both written and verbal is required. Fluency in Spanish is an advantage.
  • Base in Madrid

  • Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 81,810 EUR to 136,620 EUR corresponding to the level of the position.
    The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
  • Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
