The Position

This role is an active position within the responsible team for managing and overseeing all aspects of patient relations within the organization. This includes building and maintaining positive relationships with patient associations & organizations, ensure Novo Nordisk (NN) positioning and reputation among these health stakeholders, also support patient associations to its legitimate right to have better health where NN is present though medical innovation.

 

Among your main responsibilities will be:

  • Shaping and executing the patient advocacy strategy in Spain that is aligned with Novo Nordisk's mission and objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong and valuable long-term relationships with National, Regional & Local Patient Associations, patient advocacy groups & organizations, and key stakeholders.
  • Partnering closely within the MAPA Team and with others internal teams (Medical Affairs, Marketing, Communication, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance) to ensure patient-centricity is incorporated into all initiatives, included portfolio's disease strategy plans.
  • Contributing to collection insights of patients, families, and patient advocacy groups to drive and shape innovated patient support & education programs, research strategies and Novo Nordisk decision making.
  • Being up to date with a new developments and ideas in the field of patient advocacy and incorporate such into the development and execution of programs.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Min. bachelor’s degree, preferably in health sciences or policy, law, sociology.
  • Knowledge of Spanish Healthcare System and its regulation.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or healthcare management positions, preferably within healthcare institutions, or Patient Advocacy Groups.
  • Fluent English/Spanish and computing skills.
  • High level of interpersonal communication, time management and prioritization.
