Your new role

As Digital Medical Engagement Lead, you will design and lead a forward-thinking digital strategy that connects Medical Affairs with key external stakeholders in a meaningful and compliant way. You will work across functions to translate insights into impactful medical strategies, while enabling the adoption of digital tools and AI across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead the national digital scientific engagement ecosystem, including mapping and prioritisation of Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs) and defining engagement approaches
  • Enable structured and meaningful engagement with DOLs and broader scientific communities, aligned with Medical Affairs priorities through digital projects, initiatives and training programmes
  • Translate digital insights, data and external signals into actionable recommendations that shape the medical strategy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and key enabler of AI adoption, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, insight generation and operational effectiveness
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with internal policies and local regulations, maintaining strong governance and documentation standards

 

Your new department

You will join the Medical and Regulatory organisation in Spain, where collaboration, innovation and patient focus are at the core of everything we do. The team plays a critical role in generating scientific insights, supporting evidence-based decision-making and ensuring meaningful engagement with the healthcare ecosystem.

Working closely with Medical Affairs, MR Operations, Marketing, Compliance and other key stakeholders, you will contribute to shaping a modern, digitally enabled Medical Affairs function. You will also collaborate with external partners such as healthcare professionals, digital experts and agencies to deliver impactful solutions that ultimately improve patient outcomes.

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a professional who combines digital expertise and a passion for innovation together with scientific understanding. You bring:

  • A university degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, Digital Health or a related field, with additional exposure to digital transformation or data analytics being advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital engagement and transformation, omnichannel initiatives or digital/AI-driven projects gained from the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge and practical understanding of AI tools, digital platforms or analytics applied to business/medical contexts.
  • Solid knowledge and / or mindset of compliance requirements
  • High level of English and Spanish (written and spoken), enabling effective interaction in international and cross-functional environments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work effectively across complex, matrix organisations

 

Additionally, you are a curious and forward-thinking professional who can translate data into insights, build trusted relationships with scientific stakeholders and challenge existing ways of working to drive innovation.

  • Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 69,080.00 y 115,360.00 EUR, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
  • Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
