The Position
As a Commercial Excellence Partner, you will represent the Commercial Excellence function in a Customer Team, aligning the needs of the customers to the critical processes of Commercial Excellence. You will be driving the segmentation and targeting process, as well as ensuring the right focus on execution, by regularly reporting on the line KPIs providing insights into the data. Among your main responsibilities will be:
- Represents the Commercial Excellence function in a Customer Team, aligning the needs of the customers to the critical processes of Commercial Excellence:
- Drives the segmentation and targeting process, ensuring the right activity plans for the sales line. Leads the overall segmentation process, collaborating closely with other Customer Engagement functions, such as Customer & Market Insights and Customer Experience.
- Drives continuous improvement of territory alignment for its customer line, adjusting territories when business requires and ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Ensures focus on execution, by reporting regularly on KPIs for the line and execution metrics and providing insights into the data.
- Excels on sales analytics, partnering with the Customer Care organization on generating insights on sales performance.
- Identifies need for field capabilities and works closely with training partner to ensure plans for development are in place.
- Collaborates on building the design and implementation of the Incentive compensation plan for the year, in close collaboration with the Head of Commercial Excellence and the affiliate Incentive Committee.
- Supports the evolution of the GTMM to omnichannel by providing input into field requirements and developing tools that support the transformation, including field capabilities.
Qualifications
• Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Life sciences, Engineering or similar required.
• 3-5 years of experience in customer engagement / commercial excellence / business operations / strategic consultancy.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to expand stakeholder relationships at all levels by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully develop, implement, and deliver commercial excellence solutions. Field experience will be valued.
• Strong influencing skills with the ability to challenge and gain consensus across varied teams.
• Proactive and accountable with a clear drive for delivery making things happen
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Agile in approach with a flair for the development of new ways to grow and improve the business.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to tailor content relevant to the audience.
• Exceptional team player and collaborative in approach.

About the Department
